Round the clock security for Hirunika Premachandra home
While claiming that investigations were underway into the complaint, by Hirunika Premachandra, the daughter of the late Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra, of receiving her death threat, Police Headquarters said yesterday that security was eing provided around the clock to her home in Cinnamon Gardens.

Medical students from universities around the country together with the Medical Faculty Student Action Committee (MFSAC) staging a protest march from Colombo General Hospital to the Temple Trees to hand over a memorandum against the private medical institution in Malabe. A Dentist attached to Ragama hospital has been arrested
A Dentist attached to the Ragama hospital has been arrested for molesting a woman last night. The Dentist who at the time was practicing at a reputed private hospital in the Dalugama area had molested the woman after he had told her to come to the hospital at 8PM yesterday.
