As part of its new designer development programme, HSBC CFW 2012 will be launching the ‘Bright Spark’ Fringe Fashion Show starting this year. This comes on the heal of the introduction of the ‘Gen-Next’Award that was introduced at last year’s HSBC Colombo Fashion Week.

Miss Venezuela, 22-year-old Ivian Sarcos, crowned Miss World 2011
Miss Venezuela, 22-year-old Ivian Sarcos, was crowned Miss World 2011 in a final ceremony at the beauty pageant on Sunday.
Wearing a frilly bright pink princess dress, Sarcos wept and crossed herself when her victory was announced and last year’s winner, Alexandria Mills of the US, handed over the crown at Earls Court in London.

“I know my best angles,” says Johansson, who graces the magazine’s December cover. “They were sent to my husband (Ryan Reynolds). There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s not like I was shooting a porno.” She adds: “Although there’s nothing wrong with that either.”

Produce - exotic, tropical and always Sicilian - was the leitmotif of a circus gal Dolce & Gabbana spring 2012 show in Milan on Sunday, Sept. 25, when the duo sent a giant produce market of prints out onto their catwalk.
Hefty purple onions, baskets of tomatoes and red peppers enlarged to become foot-size were just some of the images used on below-the-knee skirts, gathered and puckered bra tops and naughty picnic frocks.
