Central Bank stop printing of Rs.10 and Rs.2000 currency notes

 

The Central Bank has decided to stop the printing of Rs.10 and Rs.2000 currency notes henceforth, officials said yesterday. However, the CB said notes already in circulation in could be used for transactions.

Price of one kilogram of wheat flour has been increased by Rs. 8.50 with effect from midnight today, sources said. The new price of one kilogram of wheat flour will be Rs. 98.50
